Phototherapy

At Darwin Dermatology, we use a machine that emits a narrow wavelength of ultraviolet light in the spectrum of UVB. This is known as Narrowband UVB Phototherapy, and is the spectrum of ultraviolet light that has been demonstrated to be the most suitable for the treatment of psoriasis. It is also commonly used by dermatologists to treat a variety of other skin conditions including:

Eczema (dermatitis)
Vitiligo
Longstanding itch with no specific cause
Lichen planus
Polymorphic light eruption
